Overview
WeCE, the world's first embedded MPEG-4 Web Camera Engine, provides excellent video quality over the internet at an attractive price point. MIVISION offers a breakthrough solution for network video security by providing a low-cost 4 channel video input system. M-eye 344 has 4 video channel inputs with simultaneous MPEG-4 encoding for each input. The capability of encoding up to 20 frames/sec can be arbitrarily assigned to each channel. 1 channel has Bi-directional audio capability for VoIP communication.
Low Cost Solution For Low Speed Motion Area
You do not need to buy 4 units of 1channel product. Most high speed internet lines are not fast enough for delivering 120fps (4 channels x 30 fps). If a monitoring speed of 5 frames/second is acceptable, the M-eye 344 is an ideal solution.
Adjustable Frame Rate And Video Resolution
The total encoding capability of 1 unit of M-eye 344 for QVGA resolution is 20 frames/second. For HVGA (640x240) the capability is 10fps. You can assign and distribute this capability between the 4 channels. For example, you can assign 1 channel to have HVGA mode and the others to be just QVGA mode. The frame rate of each camera can be adjusted within the maximum capabilities available.
Digital Input/Output
Digital Input is available for monitoring all movements such as trespassing and fire linking with motion or smoke detector. Also available for controlling the electronic equipments such as auto switching door, emergent situation from remote sites.
Audio
Using internal or external mike, it takes sound to compress by G.723/726 and transfers the image and the sound at a time. To transfer the sound, WeCE-Audio board should be installed.
RS-232/485 Serial Interface
It is for control PTZ by which users can control the camera in remote site to pan, tilt, zoom and also enlarge or scale down the image.
